I didn't exactly recall when or how the previous games were announced / hinted / rumored, as I started playing The Sims 2 since around Apartment Life, and began to put more attention since Ambitions. ~~== News blogs ==~~ I do think they are a bit rushed in The Sims 4. :/ It only took a few days since their hint to the "big announcement" until their official announcement. They even planned the game some time next year, though it might even be at the end of that year. To put that aside, I still don't seem too excited about lifeguard. It doesn't seem too appealing, but let's just think this. If they include a profession related to swimming and beach, there's a chance there will be a new feature in that field. All in all, I'll say... "Nah, EA already added that profession.
