RE: Style[edit source]

Hi, Danielmorine. Thank you for discussing it first before attempting to recreate the page! I have 2 things to say about this; the first is that the title "Style" is much too common to use for a page that contains the furniture design and style, but this is a minor thing and I'm sure there's more specific name for that, like Architectural Style perhaps?

But the major thing is that it doesn't really warrant its own page. The style itself is just a collection of furniture with particular designs, like Surfer or Gothic in Teen Style Stuff. The style is rather difficult to describe with words, as it's best to describe it by providing the pictures of the style. However, I'm pretty sure that styles have already been included in their respective EP pages, though they might not be complete. Otherwise, styles and their pictures had better be included in the galleries in the EP pages, and I think it's better that way. So, for instance, the Intrigue and Rockabilly styles could be added as a section and gallery in Fast Lane Stuff, and Gothic in Teen Style Stuff. Nikel Talk Vote! 03:55, October 8, 2012 (UTC)

We can, but as I said, it doesn't warrant its own page. A page that only lists the images of styles isn't a really good subject. For now, the styles each EP features are better split and mentioned in their respective packs. Nikel Talk Vote! 13:37, October 8, 2012 (UTC)
Actually, you are right... Most of the times, articles are being discussed upon deletion (or not). Sometimes some pages are deleted outright if they are just nonsensical or really low quality. This made me reconsider about it however... Should the Style page be really gotten rid of? It might not be really bad in quality; it was just incomplete. Normally, an administrator can delete a page from general view (as I see it's not a necessity to have a page of its own). When somebody else might object, I could restore back the page if you want me to and open a discussion if we should really keep it however. I want to apologize if I made a rush to delete it too soon.
As for the deletion policy, if Wikia doesn't have an exclusive policy or rule, it'd simply be based on Wikipedia. That's as far as I know, but I'll see if Wikia guidelines actually differ from Wikipedia. Nikel Talk Vote! 16:32, October 9, 2012 (UTC)
I've restored the page now. I guess we could use style unless there's better idea. No, don't merge with theme. I'd prefer them separated. I'll help with the page when I can or if you ask me for anything else. Nikel Talk Vote! 07:39, October 10, 2012 (UTC)
Ah, sorry for the late reply, I didn't realize your message. Hmm, really? I think it works correctly to me... Maybe it was the file name. Make sure your images don't use generic titles, such as "Screenshot", "Untitled", and so on. I'll look around this issue. Nikel Talk Vote! 12:57, October 12, 2012 (UTC)
I see you've uploaded a new image of yours. Is it working fine now? Nikel Talk Vote! 13:58, October 12, 2012 (UTC)
