Meadowview
Hi there, is it possible for you to provide a link to Meadowview, just to prove its existance? Thanks! Lost Labyrinth • (c) • (b) 22:25, June 26, 2011 (UTC)
- Yes, please do this. Googling for "Meadowview Sims neighborhood" doesn't turn up any links to a TS2 neighborhood by that name, and it's not on thesims2.ea.com as a Maxis-made download. I suppose that a downloadable custom neighborhood that is not Maxis-made might be appropriate in the Fanon namespace, but not in the mainspace. Dharden (talk) 01:46, June 27, 2011 (UTC)
- I really have to ask you to stop creating Meadowview-related articles in the wiki's mainspace. Saying "i dont want my characters name to be newarticletext" implies that this neighborhood and the Sims in it are your creations, and fanon is not allowed in the wiki's mainspace. Even if they are not your creations, I ask that you stop until you can show that Meadowview are not fanon. Dharden (talk) 01:57, June 27, 2011 (UTC)
- We have been notified that Meadowview is downloadable from Mod The Sims. Therefore it, and the Sims in it do not belong in the wiki's mainspace. Stop creating/editing mainspace articles about them now. Dharden (talk) 02:07, June 27, 2011 (UTC)
- As I have seen this discussion, I am moving the article Meadowview and all related articles to the fanon namespace as they are not official creations from EA. Any question you have, feel free to ask me. --Guilherme Guerreiro(talk here) 08:48, June 27, 2011 (UTC)

- I will note that on The Sims Wiki talk:Admin Portal#Meadowview. Feel free to go there and make your case for restoring the articles. Dharden (talk) 12:24, June 27, 2011 (UTC)
- Deleting articles, and restoring deleted articles, can only be done by administrators. (I am one.) What you need to do is convince us that the articles should not have been deleted, and should be restored. Dharden (talk) 12:55, June 27, 2011 (UTC)
- The decision to delete was made after discussion, and other admins take a stronger role in administering the Fanon namespace than I do, as they have more of an interest in fanon than I do. I only deleted the Sim articled because the neighborhood article had been deleted. You need to go to The Sims Wiki talk:Admin Portal#Meadowview and make your case to the admins as a group, rather than directly to me. Dharden (talk) 13:10, June 27, 2011 (UTC)
- Not a problem. It just seemed polite to ask. Also, do you want me to fix your userbox? Editing someone else's userpage w/o permission is generally Not Done, even for admins. Dharden (talk) 13:36, June 27, 2011 (UTC)
- Do not worry limegreen as we are still giving our input to see if the articles can be restored, I'll inform you whether you have decided to restore or not to restore the articles. Thank you! --Guilherme Guerreiro(talk here) 14:20, June 27, 2011 (UTC)

IP
Did you make this edit with an IP? I would advice you not to make edits to your userpage while not logged in, we may think the IP is vandalizing your userpage when it's not. --Guilherme Guerreiro(talk here) 10:24, June 27, 2011 (UTC)
Signing talk page posts
If you use four tildes, like this:~~~~, to sign a post talk page, the wiki software will automatically insert your signature and a timestamp. (By default, your signature is a link to your user page.) This lets people know when you made the post, and makes it easier for them to reply. You can also do this by using the Signature button. Dharden (talk) 12:34, June 27, 2011 (UTC)
Userboxes
Hello there! :) I see you have added some userboxes but they are red linked, do you want me to fix them? Thank you! --Guilherme Guerreiro(talk here) 13:58, June 27, 2011 (UTC)
- Done. Anything more ^_^? --Guilherme Guerreiro(talk here) 14:24, June 27, 2011 (UTC)
- You just needed a space between the words, like you inserted {{Userfamily}} instead of {{User family}} ;). --Guilherme Guerreiro(talk here) 14:27, June 27, 2011 (UTC)
- You're welcome :D! Anything more feel free to ask me. --Guilherme Guerreiro(talk here) 14:32, June 27, 2011 (UTC)
- Don't worry with that, the issue will probably be fixed by tomorrow, and I see no reason for not restoring it so the articles will probably be restored. --Guilherme Guerreiro(talk here) 14:41, June 27, 2011 (UTC)
