Re: Your blog comment about Bridgeport being "dead"[edit source]

As with all games in the series, how many Sims appear when you send a Sim to a lot such as a club will be affected by several factors. It'll be affected by your computer's processor and video card, and by the amount of RAM it has. It can be affected by whatever else you have running while the game is running, as that'll take up resources. It can be affected by how much else you have installed, whether it's custom content, stuff packs, or expansion packs. For your system, Late Night might have been one Pack too many - and it can be hard to tell if a Pack will be one too many until you've installed it. I can't troubleshoot here, but don't be so quick to assume that what you're seeing is due to faults in the game. Dharden (talk) 16:34, November 8, 2010 (UTC)

First, please watch your language. Second, that you're only seeing this in Bridgeport puts a different spin on the matter, but I couldn't know that was the case until you said so, just as I couldn't know what kind of system you have until you said so. That said, I did do a search after reading your post, and according to this thread at MTS, you are definitely not the only person seeing this. With any luck, it'll be something that can - and will - be fixed in a patch. Dharden (talk) 20:05, November 9, 2010 (UTC)
