Line 61:
While not included in the base game, vampires are included in The Sims 3: Late Night expansion pack as well as a theme pack for The Sims 3 iPhone. Before the Late Night expansion is released, using CAS, players can create a Sim with a pale skin, red eyes, and (with Custom Content) protruding teeth, for a vampire-looking Sim.

Vampires in the Sims 3 look relatively normal. You can pick them out in a crowd usually by their bright eyes and a slight difference in skin tone. A regular Sim, unless they are Brave, will get the Hunted moodlet whenever a vampire is around.

Once a Sim has met a vampire, they will show up in their relationships with a red box around their picture. Most vampires are at least Level 1 Celebrities. Your Sim can "Ask to Turn" from the vampire, in which theythe willsim holdoffers outup their armneck andunlike thewhen a vampire will"Drink"(s) bite them, leaving them withfrom a moodletSim describingfrom athe mosquito or spider bitearm. If there are too many other Sims around, or if your Sim doesn't have a high enough relationship level with the vampire, they may be rejected from receiving "the gift.". The bitten Sim will then have a moodlet of vampire teeth and describe a spider bite and itching of the bite, and a high fever in random alerts until the transformation finally takes place. Vampires will die after they have bitten to tranform another SIm. The Grim Reaper shows up and is noteably angry at the offending vamp.
