A wedding cake is a type of food used for wedding celebrations.

The Sims 2

Wedding cakes are purchased from the Party section in buy mode. Cakes can be cut by one the newlyweds, who will then feed it to their new spouse. Guests and other Sims in the household will serve themselves after the newlyweds have had their share.

If a cake has not been cut, the only interaction for Sims who have not been recently married is to throw it away.

The Sims 4

In The Sims 4, wedding cakes must be baked using an oven, much like birthday cakes. Once the cake is finished, a wedding topper must be added before it can be used for weddings. As long as there is a wedding topper on the cake, nobody can eat it until recently married Sims have cut the cake or the topper is removed.

Newlywed Sims have the option of cutting the cake, which will provide a happy moodlet. They will feed a piece to their new spouse, and then eat the rest of the slice. Other guests can then grab a slice for themselves.

A caterer hired for a wedding event will autonomously bake a white cake and add a wedding topper before they cook any other meals. ru:Свадебный торт
