The Wishing Well (and Mrs. Crumplebottom!)

The Wishing Well is an object that comes with "The Sims 2 Seasons" expansion pack (the fifth of the series). Gaining the Wishing Well is an incredibly hard task. To get it, you have to get a high score from the Garden Club (this is acheivable by maintaining a clean garden, filled with flourishing plants and well kept shrubs/hedges etc.). When the Garden Club have inspected your garden, they will ask you to join their elite group, and will randomly place the Wishing Well somewhere on the lot. The Wishing Well has two functions. Firstly, you can drink from it (useful for Plantsims as this fills up the "Water" bar much quicker than water from the tap)and secondly, you can wish for Romance, Friends or Money. Each wish has one positive and one negative outcome (your first wish will probably give you a positive outcome). Here is a list of the positive and negative outcomes:

Wishing for Friends

Positive- 3 new friends appear around the well. Upon your first contact with them, you will become best friends. Negative- 3 new enemies appear around the well. They will probably start a fight with you upon their arrival.

Wishing for Romance

Positive- Your true love appears around the well, and you automaticly kiss them, and fall in love. Negative- Mrs. Crumplebottom climbs out the well (an allusion to the horror film "The Ring"), and beats you with her purse.

Wishing for Money

Positive- A bag of money falls from the sky, worth around 1,000 Simoleons. Negative- A bag of money falls from the sky (worth only 50 Simoleons), and hits your sim on the head. If your sim's mood is low, then this could be fatal. (It's a good idea if you sve the lot before wishing for money).
