'''Bartholomew Bell''' is one of the pre-made deceased ancestral [[Sim]]s who resided during his lifetime in [[Desiderata Valley]], the [[neighborhood]] shipped with ''[[The Sims 2: FreeTime]]''. He was the son of [[Tobias Bell|Tobias]] and [[Edna Bell]], the husband of [[Ruth Bell]] {{nee|Zingel}}, the father of [[Issac Bell]], and the grandfather of [[Daniel Bell]]. Bartholomew is completely resurrectable, even though he doesn't have a grave. He has the [[Fortune]] [[Aspiration (The Sims 2)|aspiration]], and the [[Libra]] [[zodiac sign]]. As far as [[personality]], Bartholomew is very outgoing, quite nice, and somewhat playful. But he is very sloppy and lazy. According to Bartholomew's SimDNA in [[Package editor#SimPE|SimPE]], his hair was black before it turned grey. According to his age data, he had 11 days left in the [[elder]] [[life stage]] when he died.

Bartholomew uses the 12th and 22nd Maxis face templates in [[Create a Sim]]. The ears, eyebrows, and nose use the 22nd face template, while the eyes, mouth, and jaw use the 12th face template. Also the jaw is longer than on the default face. However the jaw is only longer on [[teen]]age, [[adult]], and elder female Sims, which may mean that the jaw was genetically passed down, as this oddity generally only occurs on Sims whose facial features were genetically passed down. Bartholomew's SimDNA in SimPE shows that his recessive [[genetics]] are for brown hair and light blue eyes. He died shortly after Issac grew up into an adult, and didn't teach him any of the [[toddler skills]] while he was a toddler.
