Sporeprograms was a sister-site and could be found at [http://www.sporeprograms.com/ Sporeprograms.com].

In Autumn 2012, the focus of SimPrograms changed from providing downloads for the game, to serving as a community fan and news site only. As a result, on December 5, 2012, the name ''SimPrograms'' was replaced with ''BeyondSims''. With the closure of [[TheSims2.com]], BeyondSims has resumed hosting patches for ''[[The Sims 2]]'', but no longer hosts tools for ''The Sims'' series. The old domain name,  http://www.simprograms.com/ redirects to http://www.beyondsims.com/.
