An ex-street musician, ex-pet walker, ex-windshield cleaner, ex-disabled, ex-blind, and the nicest guy in town, Bobo has been down on his luck these days. Help him survive these harsh times and he'll double your investment!
In The Sims he walks around SimValley on Stages 3–5.[1] He will often beg Sims for food, and if the player's Sim greets him and gives him food, The Park for 2-player mode will be unlocked. Bobo wears a simple blue suit and will only walk past the house, not come up to the door. He is also known for having no family. His interests are Money, Politics, and Sports.
In The Urbz he is a purely decorative NPC; he appears on community lots performing activities such as dumpster diving, but he can't be befriended, and doesn't show up in the player character's relationships panel.
And.. Why is he called Bobo the Bum?
In The Sims, Bobo the Bum can very rarely be seen hidden behind a residents ( NPC ) home. He would be seen squatting down, almost to the floor, naked. For some reason, he has no clothing or accessories on him. So, you can clearly see his bum, explaining why he is called Bobo the Bum. He is also called Bobo because it rhymes with Hobo. You cannot find Bobo the Bum in The Sims 4, mainly because he travelled to another land when your Sim finds him behind that house. He left the game because he was Mortified and he couldn't bare to show his face in the neighbourhood ever again, because the sighting appeares in The Sims - News, a very hard to unlock secret add-on.
