==Advantages and disadvantages==

Brave Sims are never scared and if there is's a [[fire]], they will put it out. They also deal with burglars. With a HumanSim or [[Vampirevampire]], it can be useful when exploring tombs as they won't be scared by bugs and never get the "Fear" moodlet but while there is one downside is that there are two traits that [[Trait conflict|conflict]] with Brave which are [[Coward]] and [[Loser]]. They won't be scared by Ghostsghosts and Vampiresvampires (Which vampires cause the "Hunted" Moodletmoodlet). This trait is useful for [[Military]], [[Law Enforcement]], [[Firefighter (NPC)|Firefighter]] and [[Ghost Hunter]] Careerscareers. Simbots[[Simbot]]s always start with this trait and have the above effects like HumansSims and Vampiresvampires do. As [[SimBot]]s start withas Bravebrave, players should be wary of humansSims or [[vampire]]s with Cowardthe coward or Loserloser traits, since these traits conflict with Bravebrave.

If ''[[The Sims 3: Supernatural|Supernatural]]'' is installed, brave Sims will confront vampires and "Accuse (them) of Being a Vampire" which is a mean interaction, leading to an automatic confession which can and will anger a brave Sim who also has the [[supernatural skeptic]] trait, or otherwise lead to the brave Sim "Feeling Awkward".
The only disadvantage of Brave is that it conflicts with the common Coward and Loser traits. Observant Sims will usually learn Coward and Loser after first socialize causing Trait Incompatibility while [[vampire]]s using read mind powers to learn traits may learn one of the 2 traits. However, despite the conflicts, Sims such as [[Bella Goth|Bella]], [[Gunther Goth|Gunther]], [[Jun Xu|Jun]] and [[Elvira Slayer|Elvira]] have Brave which will boost the relationship a little.

If there is a fire they will normally just put it out rather than panic, allowing them to handle it more easily. They also will autonomously put out other Sims who are on fire, and will autonomously look for a nearby shower if they are set on fire themselves.
