The name "Buck" is a pun on bucks as in dollars, which he has very few of unsurprisingly. He seems to be rather rustic considering his house and it's furnishings. He is very stubborn and hard to make friends with, partly due to the fact that he definitely prefers keeping to himself and being as anti-social as possible. There are rumors that he has never had a girlfriend, but it isn't really that surprising if those rumors are true, though someone living with him would probably be very helpful under his living circumstances.
