Rename it[edit source]

From "Schools" into "school mechanics" ? DrakonoSkerdikas (talk) 10:57, April 11, 2019 (UTC)

Bear in mind that, from a technical standpoint, you can't rename categories. So, renaming the category involves extra steps that renaming a normal page doesn't have.
That said, I'm not sure that "schools" fits the criteria of how this category is applied, but I also don't think that "school mechanics" is much of an improvement. I'd also question whether this category is being applied correctly. Perhaps the category was intended to categorize articles about different schools in The Sims - I'm thinking especially about the different school options presented in TS3: Generations. If that was the case, then the category shouldn't be used to categorize things like homework or school projects. -- LostInRiverview talk · blog · contribs 14:01, April 11, 2019 (UTC)
Well maybe we could use "Category: Education" to categorize everything of the learning institution scope (University, boarding school, children/teen school) and everything related to those as activities/performances stuff (homework & assignment, prom, headmaster, etc.) ETA: Also, the category would have much more use for being inclusive, because having it serve to list only a small number of institutions (which there are like only four: regular, private, boarding and college) doesn't really make it that useful. Why not just have it accommodate everything pertaining school, so readers could learn them from a single click.
