A challenge event is a temporary seasonal challenge in The Sims 4, added via patch. These events can offer new items and interactions as rewards if Sims completed the goal within the one week in real time they can get the rewards even after the event ended. Some Events will be started by talking with Jasmine Holiday.
Bunny Egg Hunt
On March 2015, an update added the Bunny Egg Hunt. This challenge added in special decorative easter eggs Sims can find like any other collectable and collect up to 12 different kinds, when a Sims household collects all 12 eggs they will unlock a new object the "Bun Bun the Bunny".
The Bunny Egg Hunt returned again the next year on March 2016 allowing Sims to once again collect decorative eggs.
Trick or Treat Interactions
On September 2015, in theme of the recent stuff pack The Sims 4: Spooky Stuff, two interactions were unlocked for a week in real time, Trick and Treat, these interactions allowed Sims to give other Sims treats and sweets or Trick them by scaring them.
Spring Challenge
On March 2016, along with the return of the second Bunny Egg Hunt, Jasmine Holiday was introduced with a new challenge for Sims to do, Sims can grow their own Growfruit. If a Sim has grown 20 growfruit, they can redeem them to Jasmine to get a new planter in build mode. If a Sim grows a perfect growfruit, they can redeem it to Jasmine for a fancier planter in build mode.
Triple Boost Week
On August 2016[1], Jasmine Holiday returned once again, if a Sim talks to her they will be granted a boost in their careers and skills three times more than usual for seven Sim-days.
Day of the Dead Event
An upcoming event[2] on November 2016, is the Day of the Dead event that is teased in the Day of the Dead gameplay patch, there can be found 10 Sugar Skulls[3] and a display case for them, this event will allow new interactions as well as new interactions with the Grim Reaper.
