Her name is a pun on a "chastity belt or gear", a belt used by females to symbolize their restriction to [[WooHoo]], which is quite ironical to Chastity's character liking liaison. Another possible meaning for her name is "pure" from the Latin "castus". In Chastity's [[family tree]], there is one unknown Sim, possibly a result of deletion.
