'''Cheat objects''' are objects that are used for usinggame cheats, they are not shown by default and must be shown by using a cheat that shows them. The cheat to enable it varies by game and platform. In ''The Sims Bustin' Out'' and ''The Sims 2'', cheat objects cannot be moved. In ''The Urbz: Sims in the City'' and ''The Sims 3'', cheat objects can be moved{{vgversion|TU:SITC}}{{vgversion|TS3C}} but cannot be stored in the [[inventory]]{{vgversion|TU:SITC}}.

Cheat objects are either blue Gnomes{{vgversion|TSBO}}{{vgversion|TU:SITC}}, Trophies{{vgversion|TS2C}} or Magic Llamas{{vgversion|TS3C}}.

==Trivia==
* In The Sims Bustin' Out and The Urbz: Sims in the City, the reason that the cheat gnome has no name is because it does not have a valid file and that it is not intended to be in the game. This may happen to other objects if they were invalid. Also the object in The Sims 2 has no name, due to the fact that the object is invalid.
** This may be due to the fact that they were not intended to be in the game like Babs' hidden action is not intended to be used by the player while doing the Fireworks Job at [[South Side Bridge]].
