Chris uses the same head skin as [[Bella Goth]] and [[Princess Zaghawa Maximus]], though all three characters use different skin tones, resulting in similar but non-identical appearances. According to [[Tools|SimEnhancer]], Chris Roomies was the fourth Sim created in [[Neighborhood 1]].
Chris's surname is given as Jones in the console version. This is a very common surname, and it is unlikely that she is related to any other Joneses, especially given that she apparently has no background in common with them. This also happens with Melissa, as Smith is also a common surname. The PC version of ''The Sims'' does not allow Sims to have true surnames, and uses the household name as the last name of all Sims in the household.
 
A different version of Chris appeared in Japanese copies of the game, with completely different facial features and a slightly darker shade of blonde hair.
