Chris Jones (also known as Chris Roomies) appears in The Sims console version and The Sims for PC. In the console version she wears a blue shirt, blue jeans with flowers and pink slippers and has short blonde hair. She lives with her roommate, Melissa Smith. In the console version they live at 3 Sim Avenue, an empty house with a big garden outside. In The Sims they are in the family bin, ready to be moved into a vacant house or onto an empty residential lot.
Melissa and Chris do not appear in The Sims 2, and what happened to them is not mentioned. Two Sims that looked like Melissa and Chris did in fact appear in the H&M Fashion Stuff preview wearing the clothes they wore in The Sims (console) version[citation needed], but it is not confirmed that they are really Chris and Melissa. If they are, that was the last time they were shown to the public.
Chris's surname is given as Jones in the console version. This is a very common surname, and it is unlikely that she is related to any other Joneses, especially given that she apparently has no background in common with them. This also happens with Melissa, as Smith is also a common surname. The PC version of The Sims does not allow Sims to have true surnames, and uses the household name as the last name of all Sims in the household.
The girl on the left could be Melissa Roomies and the girl on the right could be Chris Roomies. Both appeared in The Sims 2 H&M Fashion Stuff Official Trailer
