Melissa Roomies is a pre-made female Sim in The Sims (console) and The Sims. She lives with Chris Roomies, her female roommate.
In The Sims for console, she appears with brown short hair, white shirt, black jeans and white shoes. She and her roommate live at 3 Sim Avenue, an empty house with a big garden outside. She likes to play chess, dance and play the guitar.
In The Sims, they are in the family bin, ready to be moved into a vacant house or onto an empty residential lot.
Melissa and Chris never appeared in The Sims 2 or any of the later games and it is unknown what happened to them, however they can easily be created. Two Sims that looked like Melissa and Chris did in fact appear in the H&M Fashion Stuff preview wearing similar clothes that they wore in The Sims (console) version, but it is not confirmed that they are really Chris and Melissa. If they are, that was the last time they were shown to the public.
Melissa uses the same head skin as Sylvia Marie Mashuga, though Melissa has the dark skin tone, while Sylvia's is light. The result is that the two have similar, but not identical, appearances.
A different version of Melissa appeared in Japanese copies of the game, almost identical in appearance to Bella Goth, differing only by her casual purple shirt and light blue pants.
