'''Claire Ursine''' is a pre-made [[Sim]] who appears in ''[[The Sims 3]]''. She livesresides alone by the beach in [[Sunset Valley]] and loves to fish. She works in the [[criminalCriminal]] [[career]] track. She is also pregnant with her [[Unborn baby Ursine|first child]], the father being her next-door neighbor and ex-boyfriend, [[Jared Frio]]. When the family is first played, Claire is 16 days from being an [[elder]].

Claire is good friends with [[River McIrish]], and is acquainted with [[Sandi French]], [[Fiona McIrish]], [[Connor Frio]], and [[Ayesha Ansari]]. She dislikes her ex-boyfriend, Jared, very much. If her pregnancy is left alone with [[story progression]] on, the baby will be a girl. Quite like [[Brandi Broke]], except her baby will always be a boy.

It has been speculated that she is a nod to [[Claire the Bear]] from ''[[The Sims: Hot Date]]'', due to their similar first names and the fact that ''"Ursine''" means of, relating to, or resembling bears. Her appearance and clothing are bear-like, she has the angler trait, and is a kleptomaniac. (meaningAlthough she hasdoes not have the slob trait (slob Sims often have a tendency to go through her neighbors' garbagetrash cans).  These traits suggest bear-like qualities. Claire needs 7 points in the [[Athletic]] [[skill]] to receive a promotion, but at the start of the game, she only has 3.
