''The Sims 2'' also introduces the '''Ciao Time Espresso Machine'''. It still sells for §450, but has an Energy rating of 4 and a Bladder rating of -1. Unlike the machine in ''The Sims'', it does not break. If the "Make Espresso" action is canceled before it is finished, the Sim will finish making the cup, and will leave it sitting there. A Sim can then be told to drink it by clicking on the machine and selecting "Take Espresso". It does not appear that the cup will get cold or go bad, no matter how long it sits.

 

 

Sims will sit to drink coffee if there is a vacant chair in the same room as the coffeemaker. Otherwise, they will stand. Also, in ''The Sims 2'', coffee cups need to be cleaned up, but Sims will not autonomously put them in a sink or dishwasher unless the coffeecuphack [[mod]] from [[More Awesome Than You]] is used. Instead, they will look for a coffee table, end table, or desk to put the empty cup on, regardless of how far away it is.
