She can be made playable by befriending and aging her up with another child{{Vgversion|TS2FT}}, and sending her off to college {{Vgversion|TS2U}}. Diane's [[relationships]] with other townies are usually randomized at the start of the game. As far as [[personality]], she is very outgoing, somewhat active, and a little bit neat. But she is quite serious and grouchy.
