Eco-Friendly is a trait in Ambitions.

Eco-Friendly Sims prefer a lifestyle of energy conservation, recycling and sustainable eating.

Sim is happy when sharing a car with other Sims (and unhappy when going alone)
Sim doesn't like cheap appliances, because they spend too much energy (washing machine, drying machine etc.)

Eco-Friendly Sims get alot of extra moodlets from various household actions and gardening. See Environmentalism.
