Family relationships are defined by marriage/joining and birth. In The Sims 2, these links can be defined in Create-A-Sim and viewed from the Family tree.

Families can also be defined by household but do not have an impact on Social Interactions.

Family Interactions

In The Sims 2, Sims have Interactions that can only be performed with family members.

  • Encourage: Using this interaction, a Sim can encourage a younger Sim's behavior and change their Personality
