Fan

Fans are Sims found in The Sims 3: Late Night and in The Sims: Superstar.

In Superstar, a Sim with 3 or more fame stars who doesn't pay enough attention to fans will attract an obsessed fan. Obsessed fans will stalk the Sim at home and any community lot. They will paw through the Sim's dustbins, and eventually start sneaking into the Sim's home to steal awards. If a the famous Sim enters a pool, they will get in too and follow him there. They can be berated or asked to leave, but will always reappear until the Sim develops better relationships with his or her fans. A way to protect a Sim's awards is to buy the Zeddy-Lock Celebrity Security Door and put the awards in a room with that door. The butler and famous people can enter, but not the obsessed fan. On Studio Town lots, the Sim can ask Lana to shoo him. On Vacation lots, Kana can be asked to shoo him. The fan bears resemblance to John Hinckley, Jr., a stalker of actress Jodie Foster who tried to kill president Reagan in an attempt to impress her.

Obsessed fans often leave black roses at the Sim's home lot before leaving. To make the Price of Fame charm, be sure to get the roses they leave before the maid or butler throws them away. If the charm backfires, 5 obsessed fans will appear.

In Late Night, when a Sim plays the guitar, fans will come and watch. The relationship level between the performer and the fan and the fun level continuously rise until either stops the interaction.

Fans can get autographs from Sims in the Music or Professional Sports Career when they hold an autograph session on a community lot. es:Fan
