Alanna Starr Stanley is an actress. She was born in Bridgeport as the daughter of director Alan Stanley and actress Emmy Starr. She has an older brother, Emmitt Starr Stanley, who is a screenwriter.
Early years
Alanna, along with her older brother, Emmitt, were reared in the glow of the Bridgeport film industry, living lives of exceptional privilege. However, as soon as they became children, they were sent for training at Le Fromage Art School.
Career
After graduating from Le Fromage, Alanna landed her first major acting role. She plays the lead role of Lauren in the prime time soap 'As the Sims Turn.' The show's most recent storyline had her boyfriend, Matt, cheating on her with Alexa, a character played by Kaydence Westley-Plumb.
Ms. Stanley is also set to play Det. Anya Petrova in a film adaptation of a Meg Plumb mystery novel.
Personal life and relationships
Alanna and her older brother, Emmitt, are close; when the relationship between their volatile parents finally ended, they mostly stuck to each other. Her relationship with her mother is cold and distant, however, she has a much better relationship with her father.
Alanna and her co-star, Kaydence, generally like each other; however, they are not friends and do not hang out after work. Part of this is because other than the fact that both are children of show business, they actually have little in common.
