Benedick Monty is a young resident of Veronaville and a member of the Monty family. He lives with his father Antonio and twin sister Beatrice in a villa near the Monty Ranch.

Despite Antonio's insistence that he stay away from the family business, Benedick has begun to talk about getting a job at the Monty restaurant so that whatever happens, he can stay with his family. He wants to have the perfect family life in adulthood that his mother's death denied him as a child.

Unlike his sister, Benedick is fully supportive of his father's attempt to find the cause of Hero's death. He feels that the knowledge will give them all the closure that they never got when she vanished.

• I have always found the casting of Beatrice and Benedick as twins in Veronaville incredibly creepy.
