Doctor Who: The Sims 3 (Stylized as Doctor Who: The Sims III) is a Science Fiction YouTube fan-made series. The series (like the TV show) follows a Humanoid-Alien known as The Doctor traveling around the universe in a Time-Machine known as the TARDIS. He is accompanioned by a constant companion that travels with him. Through these adventures he faces a varity of enemies.

History

Two trailers were revealed prior to the beginning of the series. The series was first uploaded on July 14th 2012, with Part One of "The Destruction of the TARDIS", Part One was than followed by Part Two, Three and Four, bringing "The Destruction of the TARDIS" to a end on the 5 of August, and is prepared to start a new serial called "The Labyrinth of Time", expected to begin uploading on the 11 or 18 of August.

Past History

The Doctor

Past Doctors have made frequent cameos throughout the series, such as;

  • Patrick Troughton (The Labyrinth of Time, Part One)
  • Jon Pertwee (The Labyrinth of Time, Part One)
  • Sylvester McCoy (The Labyrinth of Time, Part One)
  • William Hartnell (The Labyrinth of Time, Part One)
  • Tom Baker (The Labyrinth of Time, Part One)
  • Matt Smith (The Labyrinth of Time, Part One)
  • Christopher Eccleston (The Destruction of the TARDIS, Part One)

Peter Davison, Colin Baker, Paul McGann and David Tennant are the only Doctors not to appear in the series.

The TARDIS as seen in "The Labyinth of Time"

Christopher Eccleston has had the largest appearance out of them all, the others were merely just photos edited to look like holograms. Christopher Eccleston's however, by using archive footage ("Parting of the Ways"), was edited into the episode, to move and talk, making it seem like he was there.

The TARDIS

Perhaps the largest piece of history in the Sims 3 series was the TARDIS. The interior of the TARDIS is based on the TARDIS's used by Tom Baker, Peter Davison, Colin Baker, and Sylvester McCoy, and like the TV show, the TARDIS uses the orginial materialising sound.

The Enemies

The Doctors credit in new Opening Sequence

Like the TV show, The Sims 3 series features enemies from the original show, such as the Cybermen (The Destruction of the TARDIS, Daleks (The Labryinth of Time) and Weeping Angels (The Labryinth of Time).

Opening Sequence

Like many TV shows, this one also features an Opening Sequence. To date there has been two completely different Opening Sequences, The first Opening Sequence features the theme song from 1986, and has the names float in, than the title card, than the title name, and than who it is by. This Opening Sequence was used from "The Destruction of the TARDIS", Part One - Part Three. See Also:

The second opening sequence is completely different and features a completely new theme song, a slightly updated title card, and no longer has the serial title in it. This Opening Sequence was used from "The Destruction of the TARDIS", Part Four - Part One, "The Labyrinth of Time".
