Although Geena was possibly alive during The Sims, she doesn't appear.
Life Leading Up to The Sims 2
Geena first appears in Pleasantview with her husband Jordan. Little is known about her past, except for the fact that she used to be very high up in the Paranormal career, but quit after the social services took away her daughter.
Geena has genetic characteristics that were previously unknown to the Ionello family. She has tan skin, rather than medium skin, red hair, and light blue eyes.
Jada being taken by social services has dramatically effect Geena's life. Before, she was apparently a very popular member of the town. She was close with Cassandra Goth, Nina Caliente, Don Lothario, Jennifer and John Burb, Daniel and Mary-Sue Pleasant. Her life was envied by all, slowly becoming a town celebrity. After the incident, she isolated herself from the rest of the town, circulating bad rumors about how she treated her child. She also threw away her prosperous career, quitting. She still is close to her mother-in-law, as well as her husband. She and Lilith Pleasant are enemies, since she and her husband believe Lilith had something to do with the removal of their daughter.
The alliteration present in Jordan-Geena-Jada was completely unintentional.
Geena is of Irish descent. She introduces Irish roots into the otherwise Italian Ionello family. The same is done by Caridad Ionello, who introduces Venezuelan roots into the Ionello family. Stephanie Ionello does the same, by introducing French roots to the family.
Geena's state of depression after the loss of a child is very similar to what her husband's Aunt Caridad's grandfather, suffered from decades before, after the deaths of two of his children. Octavio succumbed to his depression, leading to his eventual suicide.
