Herbert 'Herb' Oldie
Biography
Young Herb Oldie has recently moved to Sunset Valley with his sweetheart, Coral. Currently, they are a bit short on cash.
Herb Oldie is custom, younger version of the Sims 2 character of the same name, living in Sunset Valley with his girlfriend and future wife, Coral Ruggbyrne. Although I am aware that Herb and Coral are far older in my version as they young adults but are alive in The Sims 2. However, I still went ahead and created them to have sort of a "blank slate" family to play. He is currently 20 days from becoming an Adult, a few days younger than Coral. However, I intend to fix the age inconsistency as I faintly remember Herb being older than Coral. Unlike his Sims 2 self, this Herb works as a Journalist, not a Businessman. A quirk is that the father of their future son-in-law, Jeff Pleasant is still a teenager while they are full-grown adults. However, there age many ages that don't add up like Gunther and Cornelia Goth's age. While my bio for Herb describes them as short on cash, they aren't exactly poor, having about 2.400 in funds.
Herb looks different than his Sims 2 self, having thick red hair and no glasses. But as he ages however, I will give him his iconic glasses, hairstyle and outfit. However, I designed his face as an Elder to make it accurate and thenaged him down, making his face very accurate to how it looked in The Sims 2.
Herb has no traits common to those of Sims with the Romance aspiration even though he had it in The Sims 2. That is because I never thought Herb was the kind of guy who'd regret his marriage or cheat on somebody.
Herb and Coral's house is a replica of 6 Sim Lane from the original Sims game. The furniture is quite different, though.
