Introduction[edit | edit source]

Angel is the new girl at Simlia High School. Can she survive against David, the school bully who insults everyone he can find?

Chapter 1[edit | edit source]

Mom: Angel, wake up! The bus will be here any minute!

Angel: Fine! I'll get up!

Mom: Are you in a bit of a mood swing right now?

Angel: I miss the city. Why do I have to live in Sunset Valley?

Mom: The city was too much. We wanted somewhere peaceful.

Angel: I don't care. I always loved the city. Dancing on tables, going to bars, you get it.

Mom: Still, come along. The bus will be here any minute now.

  • Angel eats breakfast and climbs into the school bus. She misses the city so much. In the city, Angel could drive a car to school and wave at celebrities walking on the streets. But now Angel is stuck in a small town called Sunset Valley.*

Fiona: Who are you?

Angel: Angel.

Fiona: You're not an angel, you're a devil.

  • other students laugh*

Angel: Stop it!

Fiona: Fine. Sit down while I sit down.

  • Angel arrives at school with everyone else*

Emma: Hi. Are you new?

Angel: Yes. I'm Angel.

Emma: Sweet name. I'm Emma. Don't worry about everyone else. It wasn't this bad until a boy called David came along and ruined the place. He said that me and Carly couldn't hang out together because I was in the Arts club and she was in the Sports club as a cheerleader. That girl on the bus is Fiona. She wasn't mean until she was ruled over by David, a boy who told her to be mean. He made friends with Adrien and Kevin, who weren't mean until David befriended them. Now those 3 boys insult everyone they see and ruined the school.

Angel: Oh. So is that what happened?

Emma: Yes. I used to be friends with Rebecca, one of the high school cheerleaders around here. But then she started dating David and decided to be mean to me because I wasn't a cheerleader.
