Hugo Experiment is the husband of Gina Experiment and the father of Hugo. Jr Experiment. He is works in the Science Career. He is Level 10 in the Science Career in Sims 1 but has been demoted to Level 3 in The Sims 2. He is most known for kidnapping Mercedes and Charles in Sims 1 along with his wife for Scientific experiments.
Life Leading up to Sims 1
He met Mercedes in College when she was majoring in Hairdressing and he was majoring in Science. He was always considered a nerd whereas she was a Cheerleader but despite this the became friends although he resented her slightly. After they'd graduated, he carried on to study Science A levels whereas she started her own small hairdressing business. Here he met his future wife, Gina. After they graduated they both became top level Scientists and grew very rich. About a year level, Mercedes came for help because her shop had failed. They said she could stay and took her to their guest room. When she joked that she could get use to this room they smiled and said "Don't". As she was sleeping they carried her to their suite which was beautiful but there was no way out. Little did she know that the mirrors were really windows. For a year she stayed in there alone but then one day a man called Charles who was a con man saw an advert for a Lodger. As he slept in the Blue Room, the carried him into the suite. Everyday, Hugo and Gina observed their reactions. One day he decided to add an extension to the suite and everyday the put a new object in there to observe the reactions.
Life in the Sims 1
In the Sims 1, Hugo and Gina are trying to have a baby to carry on their work on Mercedes and Charles. They still observe the suite everyday and change the object through a secret wall panel. He is a bit of a loner and doesn't know anybody at all in Neighborhood 3 yet. His wife, Gina thinks they should free Mercedes and Charles but he doesn't think so.
Life leading up to the Sims 2
Sometime between the Sims 1 and Sims 2, Hugo and Gina have managed to have a child Hugo. Jr. Also Gina frees Mercedes and Charles causing them both to be arrested but they were let out on bail from their son. They lost their money, house and credibility and moved to a smaller house. Gina died of disease and now he lives alone with his teenage son.
Life in the Sims 2
In the Sims 2, although he still has a job, he is at a low level. He is very poor and barely survives on his low income. He misses his wife immensely and doesn't approve of his son dating an alien Quinn Space, daughter of Kylie Space and Fricorth Space (nee. Tricou.
