Januaray Hanover is the patriarch of the family. Not much is remembered about January because the information about him disappeared with February.

Young Adulthood[edit | edit source]

January moved into Riverview when he became a young man and got a job in the Jounalism field. He also wrote books on the side and became very highly regarded in the literary world. Soon after he moved into RV, he became a partner at the bookstore and bought out the property not long after. He renamed it "Hanover Volumes" where the Hanovers make a substantial profit. He also became a partner at the the diner and day spa. January bought out the other partners at the diner and renamed it "Hanover Diner."

January worked hard his entire life to build a legacy for future generations. He wrote ten books and a lot of articles. He fell in love several times and even went so far as to ask one of his girlfriends to break up with her husband. Of course, their relationship didn't last and he soon forgot her name.

Adulthood and Elderhood[edit | edit source]

When January was well into adulthood, he realized that he needed a child to continue his legacy. He called the adoption center and adopted February. He decided that February would be better off receiving an education at boarding school so he immediately enrolled her in Smugglesworth Prep Schoool.

When February left for school, January realized he missed her even though he had barely gotten to know her. He advanced in his career all the way up to Star News Anchor and achieved his lifetime wish. He refused to retire, though, because he wanted to leave as much money for future generations as possible. February graduated from prep school two days before he died, so he was able to see her again.

January Hanover died at the ripe old age of 77. He left February all his belongings and left a provision in his will saying that his estate should be passed down to the oldest child of each generation upon the death of their parent(s) if said child completed an education at boarding school.
