Jessica Curious (née Grunt) is the daughter of Buck and Jill Grunt. She is important in the Curious household as the wife of Vin Curious and as mother of Sander and Kenneth Curious.

Biography

Earlier Life

Jessica lived together with her parents and her uncle Ripp, aunt Margaret and cousin Mandy. She had a big family due her grandfather's earlier 'work'. It wasn't easy for Jessica to find friends outside her family, and a boyfriend was unthinkable. However she had a good life and besides her family being everywhere she didn't have much to complain about.

Adulthood

For unknown reasons Jessica starts in the paranormal career, this might have to do with the death of her parents. She does well and gets promoted a few times. She meets Vin Curious and is immediately attracted to him. They start dating and they fall in love. Jessica, excited to finally found someone outside her family is thrilled and suggest that they should move in together. Vin agrees and to Jessica's surprise he proposes to her. On their wedding night they share their first WooHoo and Jessica gets pregnant. Their first son Sander Curious is born not much later.

Although Jessica loves her husband and son she think her career is most important, even though she teaches Sander how to walk and talk. She earns promotion after promotions and gets more interested in the spiritual world. It doesn't take long for her to reach the top of her career and she masters the ability to chat with the hereafter. Because of her new lifestyle she disapproves her son going to a private school, but Vin doesn't seem to take her serious, as they both went to private school when they were younger.

When Jessica hears about a mysterious fire in a small town like Strangetown she is shocked. Even though the police stated that the fire was just an accident, Jessica thinks otherwise. She tries to get in contact with the two deceased victims, but this seems harder than she thought.

After asking the help of many spirits it seems like Jessica finally has found the two victims, but at that same time Jessica discovers that she is pregnant. She knows that a pregnancy can mess up her paranormal gifts, so the only thing she can do is wait with her investigation until after the baby is born.

Only a few days before Sander's teenhood little Kenneth is born. A healthy baby boy.
