Mortimer Goth was the husband of Dina Goth, and before that, the husband of the late Bella Goth. He was also the father to Cassandra, Alexander and Francesca. He also had one grandson named Dylan.

Mortimer was lost after the disappearance of his beloved wife, and his daughter's engagement to the town Casanova only made things worse. However, he knew he couldn't do anything to change Cassandra's mind, so he just did his best to be there for her, especially when her fiance left her at the alter. When Cassandra entered into a relationship with her friend Darren, Mortimer was overjoyed, and realised that maybe it was time for him to move on as well.

This is when Mortimer decided to propose to Dina, the woman who had been keeping him company for a while. Mortimer knew that she probably just wanted his money, but he didn't care - it was better than being lonely. Then Dina fell pregnant unexpectedly, and soon gave birth to their daughter, Francesca. Mortimer passed away from old age before Francesca even reached her toddler stage.

Mortimer is now buried in the graveyard behind the Goth manor.
