Nina was born in Simlin, Russia in 1972 to Sveta Chernova and Nikita Chernov. Nina went to a dance school in Russia, and was taught by Galina Tereshkova how to dance correctly. Nina (at age 7) went onto an ice rink for the first time with Galina, and danced to "Sim Lake", a classical piece of music. Nina was encouraged and encouraged by Galina to do figure skating professionally, Sveta encouraged Nina to as well, and asked her to live the life she wished she had. 6 months later, Nikita killed Sveta in a furious rage. Nina promised her mother she would, and 20 years later danced at the Olsimpics. Nina did this until 2014, where she met Vadim. The two fell in love, and are engaged.
