'''Oscar Lachance''' is an original sim (creation of LexxBlix/AedanStarfang) residing in Newcrest in the Sims 4. He is a in-law of the infamous Lachance family, having attained the surname via his brother [[Fanon:Oswald Lachance|Oswald Lachance]] through his marriage to [[Fanon:Scarlet Lachance|Scarlet]], who allowed him to take the family name for reasons unknown.
Oscar is a lazy sim, but has aspirations to become a big time crimelord. At the start of the Sims 4 he will merely be at Rank 7 of the Criminal career on the Boss path, and will still need to improve his handiness and mischief skills, as well as his work performance. He will also frequently get bored and disinterested with what he is doing due to being a lazy sim, especially if it requires too much work.
Since he is a mischief sim, Oscar will often have negative relationships built up with random townies, and this may impact relationships with his housemates/family members though this varies from family member to family member.
Oscar can sometimes be found loitering either outside of the Solar Flare lounge or waiting for celebrities in front of Orchid A Go-Go. Oscar is best friends with his brother Oswald but is practically strangers with his sister-in-law Scarlet. He is friends and on good terms with his niece and both of his nephews, and with his mother-in-law.
Despite being a mischief sim, a lot of Oscar's budding skills are within socially-acceptable categories such as dancing, mixology and comedy.
