The series takes place in Pleasantview where the show follows the lives of the residents and the variety of mysteries hidden within Pleasantview.</p>

<p class="ve-ce-paragraphNode ve-ce-branchNode">PleasantView has so far received positive reactions from people on YouTube that the creator has announced on March 3, 2017 that the series has been renewed for a second season and is due to come out this summer.</p>

<p class="ve-ce-paragraphNode ve-ce-branchNode">The show first came into mind for Max Z (CrazeSim), in 2011 when he watched a variety of different series made by fellow Sims players, such as Doons99P when she was still doing her own series revolving around the town of Pleasantview. When her last episode was published in 2012, Max (CrazeSim) considered doing his own series. He created the first episode of the PleasantView Series on May 24, 2014, but due to it not getting enough activity he gave up on the idea and forgot about the series. During the release of his channel CrazeSim, he had thought about making his own series. But was too busy with his school work in order to write a script. After he noticed that his first episode had about over one hundred views in two years, he thought about rebooting the series, and making it so that it would benefit his viewers and his channel's current status. On January 1, 2016 he tweeted that his two year hiatus on his PleasantView Series is ending and he's rebooting the series in September 2016. Since then he has wrote so many scripts and the series has got positive reviews from variety of people.<span class="ve-ce-leafNode ve-ce-focusableNode" data-parsoid="{"src":" ","isDisplayHack":true,"dsr":[1352,1353,null,0]}" style="cursor:default;" typeof="mw:Placeholder"> </span></p>

<p class="ve-ce-paragraphNode ve-ce-branchNode">The scripts for the PleasantView Series started in January 2016, done by CrazeSimGaming himself. Originally Episode 5 was supposed to be the second episode to come out, since that's the first script he has worked on. But it didn't make sense for Episode 2 to go straight to the wedding, CrazeSim considered it to be Episode 5. Only about 80% of the characters have been written onto the first season, since the Burbs and the Oldies have no current place in Season 1 as they're optional characters, they might come in sometime at the end of Season 1 or the start of Season 2. Bella Goth was written into the story as she's the face of the series as well as her clone Kathryn Sampson. The story-line revolves around the center of the game. Which means that the story follows all of the characters previous and present background. Such as Daniel's mistress, Don in Riverview, Dina the Gold Digger etc. Season 1 is basically how new Simmers begin playing The Sims 2 for the first time. CrazeSim also thought of adding The Sims 3 storyline into the series. One of it was being that Pleasantview was once called Sunset Valley, the creator made sure that the story made sense. Since Vita Alto was the Local Representative in Sunset Valley, her next promotion would be her being the Mayor as followed in the Politics Career in The Sims 3. The mayor can theoretically change the name of the town, using a petition or a permission from the Leader of the Free World. But due to the quality being so awful. CrazeSim had an idea to film the entire game using Nvidia Shadowplay, and removing all the games interference using Sony Vegas.
