Raven Goth is a member of the Goth family; daughter of Cornelia and Gunther, and older sister of Mortimer.

She is friends with Ethan Bunch, Candy Ashleydale, River McIrish, and Lolita Goth and is enemies with Lisa Bunch and VJ Alvi.

She prefers to hang around in the cemetery near the Goth Family home, sitting on the benches and reading a book (usually horror). Because she's a loner, she doesn't like to hang in town unless with friends. However, she does like to go to the library and read there, or hang at the art gallery. She also likes to hang with the ghosts that haunt the Goth Family house, being best friends with Lolita Goth and having a good relationship with her grandparents.

At some point, she got interested in Witchcraft after reading a few books on it. She was fascinated with their magic and their ways of seemingly doing everything with a flick of a wand. So she one day visited the local Elixir shop, and discovered that a Bottled Witches' Brew was being sold and bought it immediately. She then decided to use her magic for good, however she does get a kick out of using Lisa Bunch and her boyfriend VJ as spell targets.

Her parents, Gunther and Cornelia, don't seem to mind their daughter's interest in Witchcraft; as long as they know their daughter is using it for good purposes and not setting buildings on fire with the Fire Blast. Mortimer doesn't seem to mind the idea, either, as long as he's not the target of her spells.
