The Browne family is a small family currently residing in Willow Creek. The only members are Monique Browne and her young son, Damian.
According to their description, it is implied that Monique's husband is very abusive, which leads to Monique divorcing him and taking Damian with her to Willow Creek. The only problem now is that Monique is a single mother raising a son who will never know his father.

Background[edit | edit source]
The Browne family seem to be descended from standard black ancestors. They have the dark skin, brown eyes, and curly hair. However, it is unknown which form of black ancestors that they are descended from. It is also unknown whether Browne is a surname or a maiden name.
The Sims 4[edit | edit source]
At some point, Monique Browne meets and marries some man. Their love lasts long enough for them to have a son named Damian. However, it's implied Monique's husband is abusive. This leads her to divorcing him and moving with Damian to Willow Creek. They move into the empty home, Riverside Roost, in the Courtyard Lane neighborhood. As they are moving in, they meet one of their neighbors. The neighbor is Joanna Parker.
Joanna notices Damian's young age and suggests to Monique a playdate for him and her young daughter, Jenna. Monique decides to take Joanna's offer and comes over with Damian for a playdate one day. Monique spends time with Joanna by playing video games together while Damian talks and plays with Jenna. Damian's babbling actually helps Jenna in mastering her communications and they become friends. At another point, Monique meets her other neighbors and gets along with them well.
The next day, Monique, along with David Wren, is invited to the Parker home by Joanna to talk about the Cagle family moving. Monique says that she already knew about it, which leaves her with a sad feeling. Joanna is able to quickly cheer Monique up by suggesting that they throw a surprise going away party for the Cagles. Along with David, Monique says it's a great idea and agree to come to it that Saturday.
Leaving Damian with a babysitter, Monique heads over to the Parkers to attend the Cagles' surprise going away party. During the party, she chats with David and Jackie Rose, Joanna's younger sister who also lives with her. At the end of it all, Monique is thanked by the Cagles for throwing the party.
