Day 1[edit | edit source]

Hi, I am Emily Junior and my parents moved to Sunset Valley. Why? Because they wanted a more "peaceful" lifestyle, yet this town is huge. I don't like it here. I miss the city, and I miss my old friends. I miss the occasional party at the nightclub, I miss living in an apartment, and I miss setting off fireworks at the evening night. This place is HORRIBLE! All the houses look so different to the large mansions and the apartments in the city. I don't even see any bars or clubs or anywhere to hang out except for a small park right in front of my small, tiny house. I know about the festival grounds, but I don't like festivals other than fireworks. By the way, I'm 12 years old and back in Bridgeport, I went to this awesome school but now I go to this terrible school. I don't know anyone here. The small park is so boring since all it has is a seesaw, some swings, a slide and a jungle gym, as well as a barbecue and a picnic bench, but this place still looks weird to me. I'm not used to the suburban lifestyle yet, and I wished I could stay in the city.

So anyway, my parents suggested that I visit the park just across the road. When I got there, I couldn't see anybody. And I was supposed to be making new friends. I could see in the playroom that Eva, my five-year-old sister was playing in the playroom with a window overlooking the park. Eva was playing with some Llama toy since Eva loved Llamas because they were the national animal of SimNation. I sat down on the swings to hang out. Fortunately, at that moment a girl appeared. "Hi," she said.

I could see that she was lonely. "I'm Carly," she went on. "I'm Emily," I replied. "Cute name," said Carly. She was a pretty girl with black hair and pink makeup. She was wearing a lovely hot pink top and a black skirt that only got to her knees, like a miniskirt for 7th-graders. She had tanned skin and brown eyes. She was wearing black boots.

We talked for a bit until it was 10:00 PM, the curfew for all children in SimNation. I wished I was already a teenager so I could stay out until 11:00 PM, but I knew the rules. So I crossed the road back to my house. By the way, I might tell you about my new house. This time, I was forced to share a bedroom with Eva since the house didn't have an extra bedroom for me to sleep in, so I was bored, as usual. Sometimes Eva is a fun girl. Other times she is annoying, especially when all she watches on TV is the Kidz Zone and all she listens to on the stereo is the Kids channel, and I'm over the immatureness of children under 10. (I don't necessarily hate children under 10 since some kids I know who are under 10 are not annoying (like Melanie)but others like Eva are annoying.)
