The Story of Bella Goth's Disappearance is Bakerychaz's fourth fan fiction, the others being The Life of Queen Jane, The Case of Sarah-May's Murder and Robert & Ada. It is about Bella Goth's disappearance and it follows Bella and Mortimer's lives after Bella's abduction. It is a fictionalized version of the real story.
Characters[edit | edit source]
Bella Goth - a woman abducted by aliens and teleported to Veronaville, now she has to find her way home.
Mortimer Goth - Bella's husband. He has just become an Elder. He is feeling guilty about the fact that he is attracted to another woman while his wife is missing.
Cassandra "Cass" Goth - Bella and Mortimer's first child and only daughter. She is missing her mother immensely and is angry at her father for being attracted to Dina.
Alexander "Alex" Goth - Bella and Mortimer's second child and only son. He is still a toddler and has no idea what's going on.
Dina Caliente - Mortimer's young new love interest. She wants to marry the elderly Mortimer for his money.
Nina Caliente - Dina's twin sister. She has always been jealous of Dina and wants to get revenge.
Chapter 1[edit | edit source]
"Don't take my wife!!!!! Bella!!!!!!!" yelled Mortimer to the aliens as his wife was being abducted by them.
"Mortimer!!!!!!!!" screamed Bella.
Bella was taken aboard.
Mortimer ran inside to Cassandra, a teen, while Alexander was a toddler.
"Cass! Cass! Bella was just abducted by aliens!" Cassandra and Mortimer ran out and saw the spaceship flying away. They both thought about Bella as she was flying away.
Mortimer and Cassandra ran to the police department. Mortimer was holding Alexander.
Meanwhile, Bella was in the spaceship tied to a chair. She was surrounded by Pollination Technician (PT) and a few other aliens.
"Why am I here?" said Bella.
PT replied "Well, madam, you are here for testing our new cloning machine."
Bella looked stunned and PT untied her and sat her on another chair, which was the cloning machine.
Bella felt sparks around her body and was electrocuted.
Two people stepped out of a teleportation pad at the other side of the spaceship.
The people were two women, one a greenish-skinned blond, and the other a girl in Bella's clothes with a different face.
"Oh no. The cloning machine isn't working" said PT.
Bella went unconscious.
Chapter 2[edit | edit source]
Meanwhile, Mortimer, Cass and toddler go to the police department.
"My wife was just abducted by aliens!!!!!!" yelled Mortimer to the police captain.
The police captain replied "What?!"
Mortimer screamed "I JUST SAID!!!! MY WIFE WAS ABDUCTED BY ALIENS!!!!!!"
"Calm down, sir. This happens a lot".
Cass said to the police captain "Can you help us?"
The police captain replied "Yes, we can add her to the current missing persons and we can organise a search party."
Mortimer, Cass and Alex had a sleepless night.
The next morning, Bella woke up in the mothership. She felt very dizzy.
She tried to untie herself from the ropes and succeeded as there were no aliens around. All of a sudden, as Bella had finished untying herself, PT walked in.
Bella grabbed a chair and hit him in the head with it, knocking him unconscious.
She ran to a teleportation pad on the other side of the spaceship and stepped on it.
Meanwhile, Bella's green-skinned blond clone had just stepped on a different teleportation pad and was teleported to Lunar Lakes. Also, at the same time, Bella's different-faced clone had stepped on the third teleportation pad and ended up in Strangetown.
The real Bella was teleported to Veronaville.
Chapter 3[edit | edit source]
In the morning, Mortimer and Cass were eating breakfast.
"I already miss mum" said Cass, who was so sad that she couldn't eat.
"I miss her too" said Mortimer.
The doorbell rang and Mortimer opened it, and there were two attractive girls standing there.
The blonde girl said "Hey, sir! I'm Dina and this is my twin sister Nina!"
Mortimer was so sad that he forgot what happiness was, and to see a woman as happy as this was quite amazing for him. Mortimer stayed quiet for a while, contemplating his life.
Nina and Dina looked puzzled and Nina said "Hey, sir, are you okay?"
Mortimer replied to the young girl "Yes, I'm fine. Are you new in town?"
Dina replied "No, we've lived here for a while and always wanted to meet you, and we thought now's a good time to meet that family. We're 20 and we've lived he since we were 18."
Mortimer invited the young girls inside and introduced Alex and Cass to them.
Cass was less than impressed with them, as she thought Mortimer was more interested in one of these girls than Bella.
Dina and Nina were quite friendly to Mortimer, they thought Cass was nice and loved Alex. But all of this was because the family was the richest in town. It was then that Mortimer told them about Bella. Dina was comforting and Mortimer developed feelings for her; not knowing of Dina's real intentions to marry him and inherit his money.
Chapter 4[edit | edit source]
Meanwhile, Bella has just been teleported to Veronaville, in the backyard of Capp Manor. Consort walked out as he heard the commotion.
Bella said "Um, sir, I was abducted by aliens, and I was teleported here, and I'm from Pleasantview"
Consort looked puzzled. He invited her in, she told him everything, and he offered to buy her a small cottage with his large fortune, where Bella could stay until she, Mortimer, Cass and Alex reunited. Bella was so thankful and accepted.
At the time, Nina was feeling jealous of her twin sister as Nina actually had real feelings for Mortimer, unlike Dina who just had feelings for Mortimer's wallet. Nina wanted to annoy her sister by seducing Mortimer. The next day, Nina went over to the Goth home while Cass was at school and Alex was at preschool.
"So, Morty, do you want to go out tonight?" said Nina.
Mortimer was indecisive, as he didn't want to go out with another woman while his wife was missing, but he was attracted to Nina.
Mortimer said "Um...um...I think I'll say no, I really like you, but I don't want to date a woman other than Bella."
Nina was angry and ran off.
Meanwhile, Bella was having dinner with Consort.
Consort said "Bella, I should introduce you to my son Kent."
Bella replied "Oh, I'd love to meet him! Can you introduce me to him tomorrow?"
"Sure!"
Chapter 5[edit | edit source]
Meanwhile, Mortimer, after declining Nina's offer for a date, was thinking about Bella. He decided to try harder to find her. He decided to organise a search party for her.
The next morning, Bella meets Kent, and she is very attracted to him and develops a crush on him.
She went home.
She called Kent and asked him out on a date, and he accepted.
Meanwhile, Cass was proud of her father for declining Nina's offer.
The search party was nearing Veronaville, and made it to Bella's house.
She opened the door and saw Mortimer standing there. She immediately hugged him. She had to choose between Kent and Mortimer, which was so hard.
"Uh...uh...I choose...Kent. I'm sorry Mortimer." said Bella. She shut the door.
Mortimer was horrified and flew home to Pleasantview. He was mad at Bella for choosing a complete stranger, instead of her husband. Mortimer wanted to get even, so he decided to get together with Dina.
Mortimer ran to Dina and Nina's house. Dina opened the door.
"Mortimer! Hey!" said Dina.
"Would you like to go out with me?" replied Mortimer.
"Of course! Is tonight good?"
"Great. I'll pick you up at 7PM" said Mortimer.
Chapter 6[edit | edit source]
At 8PM, Mortimer and Dina were in a restaurant in Bluewater Village recently bought by Julien Cooke.
Dinner was uncomfortable as Mortimer was thinking about Bella and not talking, and Dina was not good at starting conversations.
Meanwhile, Bella and Kent were having a great date. Kent was leaving, after a lovely dinner at Bella's house. Bella preferred Kent to Mortimer, even though she was married to Mortimer.
"Bye, Kent" said Bella.
"Bye, Bella" replied Kent.
Kent kissed Bella and left.
Bella missed her children but not her husband, so she called Cass and invited her and Alex to come visit.
Three days later, Cass and Alex have just arrived in Veronaville.
"Mama!" said Cass as she hugged Bella.
Mortimer was just there to drop off the kids, and he was about to leave.
"Bella" said Mortimer.
Mortimer replied "Yes. Well, I've got to go."
He left, leaving Cass and Alex with Bella.
Mortimer felt saddened by his wife leaving him for a man she hardly knew.
Chapter 7[edit | edit source]
One month later, Bella and Kent were still together, and so were Dina and Mortimer. Bella had been feeling groggy and sick recently, and so had Dina. Dina had moved in with Mortimer, Cass and Alex. It was time for Cass to go to college, and she was still deciding which major to go with.
Cass was in her room reading a book, The Crumplebottom Legacy, about her grandma Cornelia's family.
"Hang on, Cass...what about going with History as a major?" Cass thought to herself.
Cass ran to her father.
"Dad! I'm going with the History major! I leave in three days!" announced Cass.
Mortimer said "Congrats, honey! I'm going to miss you so much."
Cass replied "I'm going to miss you so much too."
Meanwhile, Dina was cleaning a counter, when all of a sudden she felt extremely sick and vomited in the toilet. She was feeling very sick and saw the doctor with Mortimer at her side.
"Um...Miss Caliente...I have big news for you. You have developed a very serious flu, and we'll need to keep you in the hospital for two weeks" said the doctor.
"Oh my gosh" said Dina.
Chapter 8[edit | edit source]
Meanwhile, Bella was at a job interview for the Veronaville supermarket, where she was applying for a job as a cashier. The interviewer was Mark Barrow, the CEO of the supermarket.
"Ms. Goth, we are going to give you the job" said Mark.
"Thanks so much! I'll be here Monday morning" replied Bella.
Bella felt sick all of a sudden, and ran to the nearest bathroom to vomit.
She visited the doctor the next day.
"Ms. Goth, I have big news. You're pregnant" said the doctor.
"What?" replied Bella.
Meanwhile, Dina was in a hospital bed, with Mortimer next to her.
"You're going to get out of here soon, honey." said Mortimer to his sick girlfriend.
Dina was severely sick, and it took all of her effort to say a word. She now loved Mortimer for him, not his money, because she discovered he was a lovely person.
"Mortimer...I know I'm going to die of this...and I want to marry you before..I..die" said the struggling Dina.
"Of course I'll marry you, Dina. I love you. We'll get someone to perform the ceremony in the hospital, and we'll get married here" replied Mortimer.
Both Dina and Mortimer burst into tears.
Chapter 9[edit | edit source]
That night, Bella and Kent were in Bella's living room, and Bella was about to tell him the big news.
"Uh...Kent...I'm pregnant. And the baby's yours. I went to the doctor today" said Bella.
"WHAT?!???!??!!" said Kent.
"It's true. I visited the doctor today, and he said I'm pregnant, and the baby's yours."
Meanwhile Cass was packing for college, and she was feeling sad about leaving home. She suddenly remembered everything in her life; her first steps, her first word, her first report card, getting into Private School, aging into a teen, prom, her first boyfriend, her first kiss, her first breakup, Bella's abduction...
Cass burst into tears, but continued packing as she needed to leave home sometime.
The next morning, Dina and Mortimer were getting married in a hospital ceremony. Dina was on her last legs, and was struggling to breathe.
"Do you, Mortimer Gunther Goth, take this woman, Dina Al Mahmoud Caliente, as your wife, in sickness and in health, forsaking all others, till death do you part?" said the Minister.
"I do" said Mortimer, as he started to cry, thinking about his dying wife.
"Do you, Dina Al Mahmoud Caliente, take this man, Mortimer Gunther Goth, as your husband, in sickness and in health, forsaking all others, till death do you part?" said the Minister.
"I...do" said a dying Dina.
Mortimer and Dina exchanged rings, signed the marriage certificate, and they were married.
Mortimer and Dina kissed, and they were husband and wife. One minute later, Dina passed away of the flu.
Mortimer was now a widower.
Chapter 10[edit | edit source]
Two months later, Cass was still in college. Also, Bella and Kent were engaged and plan to hold their wedding in four days. Mortimer now had his eyes on Nina Caliente, Dina's beautiful twin sister.
Mortimer was at Dina's grave, mourning.
"My poor Dina. My poor, poor Dina" thought Mortimer.
He engraved an epitaph, which read: "Dina Al Mahmoud Caliente Goth, may she be dearly missed".
Mortimer started crying, and went inside.
Meanwhile, Bella and Kent were sitting in Bella's living room.
Kent said "Shall we think of baby names?"
"Sure" replied Bella.
Kent said "What about Cordelia, after my late sister?"
Bella replied "That's perfect."
Bella thought for a while and said "For a boy, what about Timmy?"
Kent said "Great!"
Chapter 11[edit | edit source]
Meanwhile, Cass was finishing her term paper on her dorm's computer. She was missing home a lot, but she wanted a degree.
"I wonder what my family's doing" thought Cass.
She completed the term paper and went down to the cafeteria.
She loved school, so she ate AND completed two assignments at the same time.
She went back up to her room.
The next morning, Alex was playing in his room with Mortimer.
Alex came across a spaceship toy, and played with it for four hours. Mortimer then went to bed, leaving Alex in the crib. Alex escaped his crib, and went to Cass's old room. She had an old toy box, and Alex began exploring it. He found a doll, which looked exactly like Bella. Alex burst into tears and screamed as loud as possible. Mortimer calmed him down, and saw the doll. Mortimer himself started crying, and they cried together. Everyone was crying at the time; Bella was crying about being pregnant, Kent because of his late sister, Cass because of her homesickness, Nina because of her late sister, and Alex and Mortimer because of Bella. Alex and Mortimer played with Cass's old dolls, and Mortimer found one that looked like Dina, and he cried for ages.
Chapter 12[edit | edit source]
6 months later, Bella gave birth at Veronaville's hospital, with Kent at her side. She gave birth to a beautiful baby girl, whom she named Cordelia Capp II. Kent and Bella were by then married, and Bella is known as Bella Capp. Cass decided to drop out of college, since her homesickness was overwhelming. Cassandra returned home, and as she arrived, she saw Mortimer crying on the sidewalk.
"What's wrong, Dad?" said Cassandra to her sad father.
"It's Dina and the divorce" replied Mortimer as he wiped his tears. He was very sad, and had just started therapy.
The next morning, Cass, Alex and Mortimer were eating breakfast.
"Dad, uh, do you miss mum?" said Cassandra.
Mortimer replied "With every fibre of my being"
"Do you think you made the right choice with leaving college?" said Mortimer.
"I don't know now. I'm thinking of going back" replied Cassandra.
She looked astonished, and suddenly ran to the phone. She dialed a number, and a man answered.
"Hello?" said the man.
"Uh..hello...is this La Fiesta Tech?" replied Cass.
"Yeah"
Cass said "I'd like to apply for college"
Chapter 13[edit | edit source]
The next night, Bella and Kent are with baby Cordelia, and were watching a program on the TV. Cordelia was in a crib and Kent and Bella were on the couch.
"Am I really happy with Kent?" Bella thought to herself.
"What about Mortimer?" she thought.
She all of a sudden screamed to Kent saying "IT'S OVER!!!!!!!!!!! I WANT A DIVORCE!!!!!!"
Kent ran off, and two days later, Bella filed for divorce.
Two months later, Mortimer was kissing Nina at her house, as the two had just developed a relationship.
Mortimer stopped and said "I can't. I can't. Dina wouldn't approve."
"I'm sure she would be fine with it"
"Really?"
"Yes, Morty-baby"
Mortimer and Nina went to the bedroom.
Two months later, Cass had just arrived in college yet again, though this time she chose a major of History and a minor, Psychology, since her father's depression interested her.
Chapter 14[edit | edit source]
Meanwhile, Nina and Mortimer were sitting in a hotel, in Champs Les Sims, on holiday. They left Alex to be babysat by Bella. Cordelia and Alex had a lot of fun together.
"I love you" said Mortimer to Nina.
"I love you too" said Nina.
"Nina, I've been thinking a lot, and I've got a question" said Mortimer.
"What is it, Morty-baby?"
"I know you love me, and I love you, so, uh...Nina Benazir Caliente, will you...marry...me?"
"Oh my gosh!! I never expected this! Um...I'll have to think about it"
Nina looked stunned.
The next afternoon, Nina had her answer. She and Mortimer were sitting in Nina's house.
"Um, Morty-baby, I have my answer"
"What is it?"
"Yes"
The two kissed and Mortimer looked very happy.
The reason Nina said yes was because she hated her sister for stealing Mortimer, and Nina did love Mortimer.
Chapter 15[edit | edit source]
Meanwhile, Cass was writing her term paper, determined to finish it.
She heard a loud knock on the door and opened it.
"Hello" said a young man, soaked from rain. He had green eyes, brownish hair and medium skin.
"Who are you?"
"I'm Xavier Louis, and I'm a student here. I live down the street in a house, and my roommate kicked me out, and I just wandered to the next dorms. Can I come in?"
"Of course! There's not much room though...all I have is a bed, dresser, computer and two chairs"
Xavier came in. He was holding a plastic bag of clothes.
"Do you want to get changed here?"
"Yes, thanks" said Xavier.
He got dried off and changed while Cass waited outside.
Cass came back in and said "Comfortable now?"
"Yes, thank you for letting me change. Hang on...you look familiar. Do I know you?"
"No, I don't think so. Although I've been in some newspapers"
"That's where! You're Sandra Goth, right?"
"Cassandra Goth"
"Right, sorry" said a nervous Xavier. He felt star-struck. He started shaking, as he was in the presence of the daughter of the most mysterious sim in history.
"Are you okay?"
"Yes"
Chapter 16[edit | edit source]
"Anyway, what are you studying?" said Cass.
"Art"
"I love art. I have a collection of Gothic paintings at my old house"
"You should see my paintings. I'm going back to my roommate's place for my stuff"
He borrowed Cass' umbrella and ran out to get his stuff.
While he was away, Cass worked on her term paper.
Xavier came in with a bunch of random stuff and a giant oil painting.
"Here's a painting. My favourite"
"Wow!"
The painting was gorgeous yet simple, of a woman who looked like Cass.
"She looks exactly like me!"
"Well, I kept your photo from the newspaper and you're my inspiration"
"Maybe I should just pose normally rather than just a photo"
"Yeah"
All of a sudden, Xavier kissed Cass and she kissed back. The phone started ringing. She had to answer it.
"Hello?"
"Honey, it's dad! Nina and I are engaged!"
"Yeah, okay. Dad, I'm a little busy"
"Fine"
Mortimer hung up the phone, annoyed at his daughter.
Xavier had left.
Cass started crying because he really liked her and she really liked him.
Chapter 17[edit | edit source]
The next morning, Cass was sitting in the dorm's cafeteria, no makeup, pajamas and messy hair. This was because she had no sleep by dwelling over Xavier. Xavier left the painting there, so she hung it up in her room and stared at it for hours on end. Being the over-emotional girl she was, she couldn't let him go.
Meanwhile, wedding-loving Nina was ALREADY planning her wedding. She wanted to hold it on Twikkii Island's beach, but Mortimer objected and demanded it be in the Goth home. She caved and accepted, though was very annoyed with him and started questioning the engagement.
Later in the day, Nina booked the wedding venue - Twikkii Island Beach. WITHOUT Mortimer's permission.
A week later, Mortimer found out about the wedding venue.
"HOW COULD YOU NOT TELL ME?!?!?!?????!!!!!!!!?!????" screamed Mortimer as loud as he could.
"I want it there"
"But marrying in the Goth home is my family's tradition!!!!"
"You didn't marry Dina there"
"Don't speak of her. And that was because she was not able to come to the house"
"You know what, Morty, you're very sensitive about Dina and Bella and you've been acting weird since Dina died"
"Well, you'd be the same if your husband left you, and then re-married and that guy died. Just stay out of my business"
"We're going to be married, it is my business"
"Nina, I'm sick of you. You're envious, annoying and selfish. THE WEDDING IS OFF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
Nina ran out and slammed the door.
Chapter 18[edit | edit source]
Meanwhile, Cass had come to her senses and she put on her regular clothes, got a new hairstyle and put on some makeup.
"Let's get out into the world. I feel tons better. Let's go shopping!", Cass thought to herself.
She went to the finest clothing store in La Fiesta Tech, and bought a dress worth 400 simoleons. She then entered a restaurant.
A man with a glass of red wine came running towards Cass' table and spilt the wine on her new dress.
"WHAT HAVE YOU DONE!!?!????????!!? THIS IS A NEW DRESS!!!" exclaimed Cass.
The man saw who she was and ran out.
She gave up hope of being self-confident and just stayed in her dorm in pyjamas. She got on Academic Probation and turned an assignment in, and got off Academic Probation.
A month later, Cass was at her graduation. She was so excited, and had started dating Xavier.
"Congratulations Cass!!!!" yelled Mortimer.
Mortimer was holding Alex, and all of a sudden, Bella saw Mortimer in the huge crowd, and walked up to him.
"Mortimer?" said Bella.
"Bella!"
"Mortimer, I'm sorry. I really miss you. Will you marry me...again?"
"Yes I will!"
Epilogue[edit | edit source]
Cass - Cass and Xavier married and had twins named Gunther and Isabella. Cass became an Investigator and reached level 10.
Alex - Alex became a musician living off his inheritance in the Goth home. He formed a band named "Goth Awesomeness" which consisted of him and his friend Thomasina. He and Thomasina fell in love and married. They had a son named Graham Goth.
Mortimer - Mortimer retired and remarried Bella, and they lived in the Goth home until his death. Mortimer died of old age.
Bella - Bella spent lots of time with her three children, and was a very good mother. She died of old age.
Nina - Nina moved to Bluewater Village and started a florist business, which became very successful. She never married but had a son with Don Lothario before moving, named Matthew Caliente.
