Wendell Rourke is the kind, caring leader of the Rourke family residing in Moonlight Falls. He is the only son of Tamara and Marcus Rourke and the husband of Abigail Rourke. The father of Elenore, Matthew and Hannah Rourke and he is also the grandfather of Evelyn Kevi.
Wendell was born as the only son of Tamara and Marcus, as Tamara died shortly after giving birth. Being homeschooled his entire life until highschool, Wendell was raised solely by Marcus, a kind gentleman who feared the Supernaturals in the town.
Wendell Rourke as a Teen
Wendell entered the public school system and was bullied, like many others, by Abigail Mattin. He fell in love with her despite her being so ruthless to him. He started talking to her and they went out on many dates, until after graduation and she proposed to him. Their wedding was grand and was shortly followed by their first child, Elenore.
Wendell, however, always had a sneaking suspiscion that some day, one of his children would be interested in the Supernaturals and become one, but unlike his father, Wendell was more open-minded and kept his suspscision away from his wife.
After some time, Abigail learned she was pregnant with Wendell's heir, Matthew, and shortly after this, she gave birth to Hannah. Wendell became a loving father and spoiled his kids. Eventually, they all started dating, and Elenore only dated Jack Kevi. Despite his wife's dislike, Wendell enjoyed Jack's company and blessed their union. Elenore, fearing her mothers disproval, was supplemented by Wendell after she moved out and he paid the cost of her wedding to Jack.
Elderhood
Still a kind-hearted man, Wendell burned Elenore's house down after he learned of her financial problems so that she could come home without being shamed by her mother. Despite loving her deeply, he is aware that his son-in-law plans to kill Abigail and plans on dying with her when the time comes, asking Jack to tell him before hand.
Trivia
Abigail proposed to Wendell and they were married on a Tuesdsay.
Wendell believes Hannah to be the one to mix the Rourke blood with a Supernatural.
Wendell wants to die near Abigail, but before her, so that he doesn't have to see her die.
Wendell doesn't care about being Human in Moonlight Falls, however Abigail did some research on his family and adopted the old beliefs of hating the Supernaturals.
