During a brief relationship between Will and Talia, Talia falls pregnant with Will's baby, but keeps it a secret from him. Their daughter, Rose, is delivered in secret and Rose is given away for Talia's mother Chrysalis to look after. Some time later, Will finds out of Rose's existence and eventually abducts her, taking his daughter back to his house where he introduces himself to her. Rose warms to her father, but eventually "Chrysalis" and Talia arrive and take Rose back, after "Chrysalis" starts torturing Will and Marian. Later, "Chrysalis" (who is actually Carabosse) corrupts Will into a beastly creature to do her bidding and keep the comatose Rose safe at Carabosse's lair. During a skirmish, Will's girlfriend Glinda is forced to use Fire Blast on Will when he attacks her, destroying him and leaving nothing behind but ashes.
