Float loungers appear in The Sims 3: Seasons and The Sims 4: Island Living. They are floating chairs that Sims can relax on while they're in pools or in the ocean.

The Sims 4: Island Living

In Island Living, float loungers can be placed over deep ocean water or in pools. Sims have the option to relax, nap, sunbathe in swimwear or sunbathe nude while sitting on a float lounger. Sunbathing for too long may result in a sunburn. Sims also have the option to do a "super splash" by bouncing up and down, which will provide a 2-hour playful moodlet.

Float loungers can be purchased from any "iLand Beach Shax" vending machine or bought in build mode, and they can be stored in Sims' inventories.

Floaty McWhaleface always wanted to be a real whale. When Floaty was just a little calf, they used to dream of diving deep beneath the water's surface. Alas, Floaty McWhaleface could only float. Bobbing up and down, side to side, in little circles. Floaty knew only the sweet lull of the water's surface. It wasn't until one quiet afternoon when Floaty met their first Sim that things changed. She was tiny. A little girl with big dreams. She and Floaty were instant friends! Together, they explored Sulani's perfect beaches, and together they learned of everything the island had to offer. Perhaps the ocean was magnificent underneath the water's surface, but Floaty McWhaleface learned that there was an entire world to explore up above, and more importantly... there were plenty of friendships to be made.
