What about using [http://static1.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20130724013331/sims/images/3/3f/TS4EyesPromoTransParent.png this]? I'm not sure how will that look as a header background, but we could give it a try and see how it looks. Since we've updated our wiki logo, I think we should consider changing the wiki header background (also known as the Sims "Mosaic" - this). I temporarily removed it in wikia.css to see how it looks, and I think we can get by without having a header background image at all. So, I think we should remove, or at the very least, change the header background so it allows the new logo to be more easily visible.
