I'm proposing a change to the naming of game articles on TSW. Specifically, I'm proposing that we remove the colon in game names. For instance, The Sims 3: Into the Future would become The Sims 3 Into the Future. The new naming style would be consistent with EA's own style preferences (which omit the colon). -- LostInRiverview talk ~ blog 01:08, August 23, 2013 (UTC)

I'm neutral. It's really not a big change at all, though I honestly prefer it with the colons. Either way, I'm fine with it :3 PGR7 (parler - entendre) 02:40, August 23, 2013 (UTC)

Eh, I'm not for it... It's fine the way it is. Fangirl(Go ahead! Talk!Don't even bother looking here.)
Personally, I think we should go ahead and delete the colon. EA don't use the colon, so why do we use it? It wouldn't really be a drastic change either as it's just a punctuation mark which is hardly noticed. Beds (parlare - da leggere) 09:56, August 23, 2013 (UTC)
IMO the colons are fine to me. But if more wants it changed so that it's consistent with EA's, I'm fine with that. EpicJoyBoy (talk) 11:59, August 23, 2013 (UTC)

For what it's worth, contrary to how the games are listed on the Origin store or cosmetically, there are some official EA help articles which keep the colon, with this one for TS3:Pets being an example. I don't think it really matters too much whether or not we use a colon but whether we keep it or not I doubt anybody, EA included, would be complaining about it. Even though we may not follow EA's style, at least we're consistent on our own. I can't tell if EA is being consistent for never using the colon. Editing an article will feel strange if the colon is omitted, at least to me. Nikel Talk Vote! 14:29, August 23, 2013 (UTC)
