Wording regarding "unplayable" sims

Hi EJB,

I've had some difficulty finding exactly the wording I should use regaring "unplayable" sims. I agree that unplayable is maybe not the best word to use when referring to NPCs, Townies or foreign residents in their articles. I will reword my template.

Plumbot maker

It's called "Self-Employed Bot Builder" in game, but it's probably better to just shorten it to "Bot Builder." The "Self-Employed" part would be redundant anyway, though. EpicJoyBoy ^{(My talk page!)} 23:31, October 26, 2013 (UTC)

Plumbot infobox

I'd like to help you design an infobox for Plumbot, but I have no idea what makes them really different from Sims. In the meantime, you could use {{Sim3}} for the Plumbots.

What I know is that their traits are different. I could tweak the {{Sim}} template, add parameters for trait chips, and provide the trait chips icons. What do you think? Is there any more that needs to be considered? Nikel _{Talk – Vote!} 04:13, October 27, 2013 (UTC)

Their traits are different, yes. I like to think that they are similar to pets, since they are different compared to a normal Sim. Both (usually) has an owner, has different trait lists from a normal Sim, and needs to be taken care of. Adding parameters for trait chips should suffice but I'd like to have Plumbot quality and Owner parameters onto the infobox as well.

To be honest, I haven't created any Plumbot articles in the first place since I'm not sure if I should use {{Sim3}} for Plumbots or create a new infobox entirely. EpicJoyBoy ^{(My talk page!)} 08:28, October 27, 2013 (UTC)

For trait chips, we could use the parameter trait1 to trait7. I've made so that if the life state is Plumbot, then the "Traits" on the infobox will change to "Trait chips".

As for owner and plumbot quality, I don't know. Is there legitimately owner and plumbot quality in the game? If yes, then I'll create new parameters for those in the {{Sim}} template, for use in {{Sim3}}. That's much more efficient than creating a whole new infobox template. Plumbot quality exists in-game. I just realized we don't really need the owner parameter since the roommates parameter should do the trick for the most part. What I was thinking is that any human Sims living with the plumbot is automatically owners/creators of them. EpicJoyBoy ^{(My talk page!)} 09:17, October 27, 2013 (UTC)

To be honest, I don't think I need the quality parameter. I found out that pre-made Plumbots has a randomized quality meter, which means their quality is randomized for every game, so I never got it into use. Sims page Work

Hi EpicJoyBoy! I know you saw me making pages of Sims of Roaring Heights (I think). So, do you still planing making Sim pages? I'm almost finish at making pages of Townies, so that you can now only making pages of Sims and Plumbots of Oasis Landing. And making a little (well, not little) help with you. :)

By the way, what do you think of my edits of Roaring Heights Sims? Are they okay enough? ThePeculiarMe | (talk to me) 13:11, May 25, 2014 (UTC)

I'm really unsure though. I've pretty much lost my interest and don't feel like playing The Sims right now, so I won't be doing the remaining townies and the plumbot articles anytime soon. I might do it later when I got the motivation to do so though. :P

BTW, I see that you do have Into the Future, so you might want to consider creating the remaining articles if you want to. I already have all the headshots in Oasis Landing uploaded though, you could use them as well.

And yes, you did a pretty good job at creating Roaring Heights sims articles. I do see some minor mistakes like the lack of SkillTable2 or making the title in bold in earlier articles though, but I do see you end up correcting these in later articles. Well, I do have TS3:ITF and creating the pages of the Plumbots, but I uninstall it because (1.) I have graphical issues and my computer hasn't even upgraded yet, (2.) It took me for 1-2 hours go load an another neighborhood, and (3.) well, that's about it. However, I'll install it once I finished creating pages of the Fraternities, Sororities, and Dormitories of TS3:U and adding the Chairs of TS3.
