While this is generally prohibited, minor changes, such as typo fixing, correcting punctuation, or fixing a broken template, are allowed and do not require specific permission from the author. --k6ka (talk | contribs) 10:56, May 26, 2014 (UTC)

Minor changes don't require permission. I'm aware of Yazeer, but the profile pic doesn't tell us much. Some people do upload images of children as their profile pic, so I think a sudden block for being underaged is too hasty as this is not solid evidence. I'm not concerned with the images on his talk page right now. As long as they are not disrupting the flow of the talk page, I think I'll leave it. RE: Deleting work

Not necessary. I just purged one of the userpages and the category "Users/Slovakia" appeared. I'm a bit hesitant to delete it when you're just going to recreate it, and the fact that the template is used on multiple pages makes me quite hesitant to delete it. --k6ka (talk | contribs) 10:36, June 12, 2014 (UTC)

RE: Changing the page layout

That seems like a software limitation. We'll have to split the article up into individual games, like this one. The article was split up according to game. So in this case, there could be a Chair (The Sims), Chair (The Sims 2), and Chair (The Sims 3)... and Chair (The Sims 4) when appropriate. --k6ka (talk | contribs) 13:12, June 20, 2014 (UTC)

Tabbers won't help, because the thing here is a technical limitation. The MediaWiki software cannot load that many templates on the page. Pizza Deliverers

You should remove them from the delivery people category when adding them to the pizza deliverer category. I have a feeling the delivery people category won't be needed much longer. Redirect instead of delete

Hello. I noticed you tagged a redirect page for deletion. Please note that a redirect may be a better option than deletion. Deleting a page can lead to red-links everywhere and doesn't look good for the wiki. On the other hand, a redirect gets readers to their correct location without damaging the wiki. Rabbit holes as objects

I saw that lately you added the object categories to the rabbit hole pages. I'd be inclined not to add these categories to them. These buildings are specifically referred to rabbit holes, and yeah everyone knows that, but try not to mix them with "objects" in generic sense. The object categories are for generic objects in the series that don't fall into any specific groups, so if we can, we should try to make rabbit holes distinct from these categories. If someone wants to browse grocery, the first thing that comes in mind is rabbit hole, not objects in The Sims 3. Also, these categories are just cluttering the page I think.

And, while this is technically not false at all, many things in the games are objects, but we consider them to something else that's more specific. Sims, the PlumbBob, and even the distant backgrounds in each world are also objects in technical sense, but we tend not to look at them that way. Which is why I suggest we not include these rabbit holes into object categories. Nikel _{Talk – Vote!} 09:14, June 30, 2014 (UTC)

Well, I'm not really sure about that... IMO, neighborhood objects are objects, mostly decor, that can freely be placed in the neighborhood from the neighborhood editor (Edit Town mode or neighborhood view). The objects are like billboards, street signs, boulders and rocks, trees... you know, stuff you usually find outside a defined lot. Rabbit holes must be placed on a lot, so they don't belong to neighborhood objects, according to my definition. Personally, I don't think they should be categorized in this, but what do you think? While you're at it, I'd like to ask you some favors:

• You can omit the Category:Rabbit holes, since the navigation template automatically add them to that category.
• I'm thinking about renaming Category:Work places into Category:Workplaces, since "workplaces" appear to be a more proper term.
• I think it's better to add the EP categories on the rabbit holes, like Supernatural on arboretum or The Sims 3 on grocery. What do you think?

Well, regarding to the {{RabbitholeInfobox}}... The original articles used to use that infobox for each rabbit hole. I removed them and changed the layout, but I'm sure you knew that already. I think the infoboxes are redundant and only made the article layout very messy, with huge blank spaces between each rabbit hole. Basically, different rabbit holes only have differences in visual appearance only, which is why I decided to make a gallery. I wouldn't mind if each rabbit hole has specific descriptions like college (rabbit hole), but what kind of content can we describe in each rabbit hole? They're all the same, unlike the colleges. :/

Unless we use the infobox as a generic template, like {{All}}, that is placed on the top of the page to represent the rabbit hole in whole, I'm fine with it. Nikel _{Talk – Vote!} 11:16, June 30, 2014 (UTC)

No problem. I have all the rabbit hole and community lot images in my computer (except the last three Store worlds), but I just haven't uploaded them all. Little tip: BaconLettuceTomato has already provided rabbit holes for Lucky Palms, Sunlit Tides, and Moonlight Falls, and they're in high quality as well. Deleted. When I took the snapshots myself, I deliberately set all the graphic settings on high (not maximum though), just for the purpose of taking good quality snapshots. I thought since I didn't have anything better to do, I'd do it all in one go. Warning IPs

Hello, I noticed you gave a level 2 warning to an IP address whose last warning was nearly a month ago. It's important not to treat IP addresses similarly to accounts - while accounts are always expected to belong to one person, IP addresses can change owners, sometimes on an hourly basis. As a general rule, if the last warning was over 24 hours ago, "reset" the warnings and give them a level 1 warning. If they seem to "game" the system by vandalizing up to their third warning, waiting 24 hours, and then continuing, you can ask an administrator to block the IP address (as a preventative measure). Boyd's haircolor

Because the haircolor did not start with Boyd but one or two (or even 1000) generations ago. And when Blair and Cycl0n3 have sons, they almost always have Blair's facial sliders but Boyd's eyecolor and haircolor. So yeah. It started around 2000 or 3000 years ago, a little after The Sims Medieval. Shibboleth Wainwright was a regular blond (same haircolor as Blair, actually), residing in Queen Ravendancer Goth's castle as the Royal Technology Advisor. Ravendancer believed a bit more in magic, though. A Sorcerer named Laverres Crumplebottom just happened to live nearby, and the nomadic, surnameless mystic potionmaking\voodoo group Jocasta ultimately comes from, came often in some places of the kingdom. One day, this sorcerer and these voodoo potionmakers ultimately sensed the place that would've become Riverview,  and put it's essence in a bottle. And thus, they sold the bottle to the Queen. Shibboleth decided to try the essence, and poured some on himself. And when he poured it on his hair, it turned into the haircolor Boyd currently has. Boyd, being a science-man, just calls his hair to be "Platinum-White". Gunther and Cornelia propably know it actually infused with Riverwiew Essence, but he thinks of it being a bit of a llamacrap. And it would be something useless for moving to Riverwiew anyway Kaiko Mikkusu (talk) 06:13, November 1, 2014 (UTC)

I don't dislike Riverview, and some of the Riverview Original Townies are "favorite sims" of mine. I actually wish i registered the game to have it. Well, and Hidden Springs & Aurora Skies also have some of my favorite premade sims. And no, these are prolly not real from the game, but it could be an idea for some adaptation or something.
