One of my sims is a store owner. Last night while she was in her store I saved and exited the game. Now when I try to enter in her family home the game tells me she's visiting a community lot and I have to play there. I go there but the only options available are the buy and build mode. What can I do? One of my sims is a store owner. Last night while she was in her store I saved and exited the game. Now when I try to enter in her family home the game tells me she's visiting a community lot and I have to play there. I go there but the only options available are the buy and build mode. - I can't remember how it works in The Sims 2, but make sure you're selecting the correct store to begin with. Is there a PlumbBob above the store where your Sim is supposed to be? Duskey(talk) 08:04, August 28, 2010 (UTC)
- If you cannot see a Plumbob then try pressing F1 to go into live mode. If that doesn't work either then the game may be corrupted or something. Please note that some custom content may cause problems with your game (I lost a lot of data from messing about with debug mode). I solved the problem. I went to a family with one sim, used the boolProp testingCheatsEnabled true and spawned a tombstone of L and R used it to add neighbor to family. Added my corrupted family to this one and then moved them out .
